Invasive Plant Species: CLEAN UP at Prime Desert Woodland Preserve
Saturday, May 30: 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Let's come together for an Invasive Plant Species Clean Up, with the support of the Antelope Valley Audubon Society and the Lancaster Museum of Art & History. We will be ridding the landscape of invasive thistle flowers. Your support in helping preserve the local ecosystem and ensuring the long-term health of the preserve is very much appreciated.
Please register on Eventbrite. Please note that only registered volunteers will be able to take part in the cleanup. Once registered, you will receive a confirmation regarding your participation.
What to wear and bring:
- longsleeve shirts, long, comfortable pants, closed-toed, sturdy shoes
- garden gloves, wide-brimmed hats, gaiters
- sunscreen, water
- flags, loppers, tarps
