Successful Fall Plant Sales

Customer with her purchase from the Jepson Chapter booth at the Solano Resource Conservation District's Fall 2025 Plant Sale.
The public had three opportunities to buy native plants from the Jepson Chapter this fall. And the public responded. $2,565 in plants were sold at the Jepson Chapter's on-line store from September 13 to September 21. $2,232 in plants were sold at our in-person plant sale on September 27 at Heritage Presbyterian Church in Benicia. Finally, $1,089 in plants were sold at the Solano Resource Conservation District sale on November 8 at Solano Brewing Company in Vacaville.
All the plants were from our native plant nursery in Vallejo. The Chapter Board of Directors thanks all the volunteers who helped grow the plants and staffed the sales events. Below are links to photos taken at the in-person plant sales.

Vacancy for Chapter Treasurer Filled
Lex Makuta, Chapter Treasurer, staffs the customer checkout station at the Fall Plant Sale with fellow volunteer Linda Sonnen.
The Jepson Chapter Board of Directors was pleased to announce at its September meeting that Chapter member Lex Makuta was appointed by President Pam Muick to serve as Treasurer. This position has been vacant since February.
Lex’s tenure began just before the collapse of the Chapter’s on-line store that occurred on the first day of our members-only access to the Fall Plant Sale. Lex worked with the CNPS staff to get the on-line store running several hours after customers began complaining that the on-line store was not working.
The election of Chapter officers for 2026 will occur in December. Anyone interested in serving on the Board should contact Pam Muick at contact@jepson.cnps.org. |

They would love to have your feedback so that they can continue to improve on this great field tool.
